Clinical Protocol

7-Day VLDL-C Clearance Plan

A specialized protocol to reduce Very Low-Density Lipoprotein (VLDL), primarily by lowering liver triglyceride production.

Protocol Objectives
Carbohydrate Restriction

VLDL is the liver's transport vessel for fat made from excess carbs. Cutting carbs reduces VLDL production at the source.

Liver Detox

Support liver function with choline and sulfur-rich foods (eggs, crucifers) to help it process lipids efficiently.

Zero Alcohol

Alcohol increases VLDL synthesis significantly. Abstinence is the fastest way to drop VLDL levels.

Omega-3s

Fish oils increase the degradation of VLDL particles by the enzyme lipoprotein lipase.

Protocol Guidelines & Science
VLDL = Triglycerides / 5

VLDL is often estimated by dividing Triglycerides by 5. Therefore, any protocol that lowers Triglycerides (Low Carb/Keto) effectively lowers VLDL.

Fructose Warning

Fructose bypasses cellular energy controls and goes straight to the liver's fat-production assembly line (VLDL). Avoid soda and juice.
