Clinical Protocol

7-Day Gastrin Regulation Plan

Diet for Gastrin (Stomach acid hormone). High levels suggest low acid (atrophy) or PPI use; Low levels suggest high acid/infection.

Protocol Objectives
Acid Rebound

If on PPIs, gastrin is high because the body is trying to make acid. Weaning off PPIs lowers gastrin.

Avoid Irritants

Coffee, alcohol, and spicy foods stimulate acid/gastrin. Reduce them.

Small Meals

Large meals distend the stomach, triggering gastrin. Eat smaller.

H. Pylori

Infection alters gastrin. Broccoli sprouts and mastic gum help.

Protocol Guidelines & Science
Protein

Protein stimulates gastrin (to make acid to digest it). If gastrin is high, avoid massive steak dinners.
